Functions:
In GMS-2200 goniophotometer, the tested luminaire rotates only around the fixed vertical axle in the prescribed burning position and a reflecting mirror rotates around the horizontal axle, meanwhile, the mirror on rotating table in the opposite side rotates around the horizontal axle synchronously, to pursuit the measuring beam reflected by the first mirror, and then reflect the measured beam perpendicularly towards to a fixed detector at the horizontal rotation axis.The combined motion of the luminaire and mirror permit the measurement of luminous intensity at the direction of any horizontal or vertical angle without tilting the luminaire.
It is suitable to measure the spatial luminous intensity distribution of lighting luminaires, according to the requirements of CIE 70 and CIE 121, and then to analyze the luminaire photometric parameters, including intensity distribution, iso-intensity curve, iso-illuminance curve, luminance limitation curve, effective beam angle, effective luminous flux, upward and downward luminous flux, utilization factor and luminaire efficiency, etc.The photometric data can be recorded as IES/TM14/CIB/LDT formats for lighting application.
